Women tournaments

Kurashiki

Tournament Kurashiki Cup is the youngest from women shogi title tournaments. It was founded in 1993 in honour of legendary Ooyama Yasuharu. Only Hayashiba Naoko (in tournament), Shimizu Ichiyu and Nakai Hiroe got Kurashiki title.

It is necessary to win 2 title games to get Meijin title. Time limit is 2 hours using chess clock.
