Kisei is one of the title tournaments. It was started in 1962. Kisei was played twice per year from 1962 to 1994. But from 1995 Kisei title holder began to carry out once per year.

It is necessary to win 3 title games to get Kisei title. Every title game plays during one day. Time limit is 4 hours for every players.
