Ryuo tournament is one of the more prestigious title tournaments. Ryuo had status of title tournament in 1988. Before this time it named as "9th dan" and "10th dan" tournaments.

It is necessary to win 4 title games to get Ryuo title. Every title game plays during two days. Time limit is 8 hours for every players.
