Meijin
It is the strongest group in Meijin tournament. Winner of class A named as challenger fights for the title against lastyear titleholder. As usual Class A consists from 10 players. If some players have equal points on finish of tournament the best place occupies player who had best position on the start of tournament. The start rank based on results of lastyear Meijin tournament. All games of two last rounds are played simultaneously.
If two players shared the 1st place they have to play additionl game. The winner will play match against titleholder.
Unlucky person of title match, players occupied places from 2nd to 8th and two best players from Class B1 will play Meijin tournament next year.
